April 19, 2012BCC breaks the digital photography market into three segments: digital camera and camera lens; photo printer and processing equipment; and digital photography complementary products. The segment made up of digital cameras and camera lenses accounted for $37.6 billion in 2011 and is expected to increase at a CAGR of 5.8% to reach $49.8 billion in 2016, reports BCC.
The segment made up of photo printers and processing equipment, which accounted for $25 billion in 2011, and projected to decrease at a CAGR of -0.2% to $24.7 billion in 2016, according to the findings.
Additionally, the segment made up of complementary products and accessories, which was valued at $5.7 billion in 2011, should be worth nearly $7.9 billion, a CAGR of 6.6%, by 2016. bccresearch.com
