Apple Releases a Plethora of Printer Driver Updates
June 28, 2012Apple has released a large number of printer updates for OS X systems, so if you have a printer configured with your system, you may see an update available in Apple's Software Update utility.
The updates are specifically for devices from Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Infotec, Gestenter, Ricoh, Savin, Lanier, InfoPrint, and NRG.
While Apple makes these driver updates available for download from its Support Web site, the installation packages include all the drivers from a specific manufacturer, and installing them all will be overkill for most home users.
