RIM Confirms Scalado Tech in BlackBerry 10 Camera

RIM has confirmed that it is licensing Scalado's imaging technology for the new BlackBerry 10 camera. When RIM unveiled BlackBerry 10 this week, it showed off an impressive new camera app boasting features very similar to those introduced previously by Scalado, including the ability to remove unwanted background objects and isolate faces in a sequence of shots to select the best ones to merge together.
