YesVideo, the leader in consumer media conversion services, has announced a new mobile version of MemorySafe, YesVideo's online archival service for consumer home movie and photo memories.

Now viewable on Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, MemorySafe provides consumers with safe, convenient, on-the-go access to their precious collection of home movie and photograph content. The mobile experience mirrors MemorySafe's full web experience, allowing YesDVD customers to securely view their home movie library, invite others to view via email invitations and share memories on Facebook and Twitter.

Consumers today have millions of home movies captured on a myriad of different formats including old movie film, VHS tapes, camcorder cassettes, miniDVD discs and flash memory cards.  These memories are essentially trapped on these media formats or the files are unedited and too large to upload and share.

Now, consumers can easily drop off their media at photo service counters of select YesVideo retailer partners where the home movies will be converted to digital format, rendered on a DVD for easy viewing, and automatically lifted to your online, MemorySafe account.  Once in MemorySafe, it is easy for consumers to share these digital movies on connected devices and now on Apple mobile devices.  YesVideo takes care of the conversion of the home movie content to ensure it is compatible with the new viewing platforms that continue to enter the market.

“MemorySafe has brought to life one of our original goals of transforming our customers’ home movies from legacy formats to the Internet where it can be shared on any Internet connected or wireless device. We are very happy to bring this goal to its next phase of connecting people to their home movie content using the latest mobile devices from Apple,” said Sai-Wai Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YesVideo.

“When we started YesVideo ten years ago, we knew the Internet was the key to lifelong preservation of memories. As families rely on mobile devices to access and share online video, they can trust that YesVideo will lead the way.”

YesVideo also announced new pricing options for MemorySafe services and products, making lifelong preservation of precious memories even more accessible for generations to come. The new MemorySafe Premium plan protects up to 15 home movies with a one-year subscription for $59.99. YesVideo customers can also choose to protect individual home movies for less than $1 per month.
