1. Go to CESweb.org and register today. Registration is only $100 until December 30, when it increases to $200, so don’t delay! The International CES badge will give you access to both CES and the DIMA conference in Las Vegas, which takes place two days prior to the opening of CES.

2. Book your flight early to nab the best deals. Check out sites such as Kayak and Expedia that show you the best prices across different airlines. Once your flight is booked, download the TripIt app (TripIt.com) to your smartphone to keep track of your itinerary.

3. Don’t end up without a place to stay. Book your hotel now! Find CES hotel room blocks at CESweb.org/Hotel-Travel.

4. Plan your visit to the CES show floor.
The MyCES Planner allows you to personalize your CES experience with calendars outlining your appointments and maps of the show floor that can help you find the companies you want to see.

5. Check out the list of 2013 CES exhibitors. Search for companies at the 2013 CES by using the Exhibitor Directory. You can search by product category, exhibit hall and even by country or state. You can also search for exhibitors within PMA@CES by visiting pmai.org.

6. Download the official CES mobile app. CES Mobile is a great preshow planning tool and very helpful on-site. Using your smartphone, you can build your CES schedule while on the go and sync it with your MyCES account. This handy smartphone app provides real-time show alerts and interactive floor maps for 2013 CES attendees. Users can track the exhibitors they are interested in visiting and the app will help plan the route to their next meeting. For download instructions or to learn more about CES Mobile, visit CESweb.org/cesmobile.

7. Follow CES on Facebook and Twitter. Stay connected and informed about the 2013 CES through social media. Visit the official CES Facebook page and keep up to date on the latest CES news by following us on Twitter at @intlCES.

8. Out and About Vegas Style. Once you’ve figured out what to see and do at the 2013 CES, you’ll want to know the best ways to get around Las Vegas. CES offers complimentary shuttle service Monday to Friday to and from the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC), just outside the LVH, and most official CES hotels.

To get between the Venetian and the LVCC, the Venetian Express will run continually Monday through Friday during show hours.

Another navigational tool is the Las Vegas Monorail, which connects the LVCC to a variety of hotels, including the MGM Grand, Bally’s, Flamingo and Harrah’s. Buy your tickets online by December 27 and save. For more information, visit lvmonorail.com or CESweb.org/Hotel-Travel.

9. Bring comfortable shoes. With all the business you’ll be doing at the 2013 CES with your entire value chain of retailers, manufacturers, partners and new business prospects, you’ll end up doing a lot of walking. If you decide to buy new shoes, do it now so you’ll have plenty of time to break them in before CES even starts.
