North White Plains, NY—Tenba’s Roadie II Hybrid is a protective, rolling photo/laptop case that meets international airline carry-on standards and includes a fast-deploying backpack harness to carry a loaded case over rough terrain or up stairs.
For terrain where wheels are not the best mode of transport, the rear zipper on the Roadie II Hybrid opens to allow padded harness straps to be clipped to D-rings on the side of the case, and in a few seconds the case converts from a rolling hard case to a backpack.
The case also features a four-section locking handle that extends to a full walking height to help ease the strain on a photographer’s back and shoulders when wheeling the case through long paved stretches.

Like Tenba’s Roadie II cases, the Roadie II Hybrid has the look of a travel case, with a water-repellant ballistic nylon exterior, YKK zippers, ball-bearing wheels and industrial/military-grade webbing. The tailored exterior conceals a padded EVA shell inside, which will fit two large pro DSLR bodies, six to eight lenses plus accessories, or an HD video or medium-format camera system and a 17-inch laptop. Each case includes a slim four-pocket media wallet that fits either CF or SD cards as well as a quick-connect collar that holds any size tripod.
