Edison, NJ—Consumer electronics manufacturer Sakar International showcased thin, lightweight Full HD camcorders in its line of Polaroid-branded digital camcorders—the first in a family of digital video products under an exclusive licensing agreement.
The camcorders are designed for easy operation to make it fast and fun to capture HD video, even breaking news as it happens, with live web streaming in some models.
Polaroid iD820. At ½-inch wide and weighing less than four ounces, this Full HD model has a 3.0-inch, 16:9 gesture touch screen and 12 megapixels of resolution. Pocketable, it offers dual-stream recording capability that lets users record two sets of video simultaneously on the card—one in Full HD 1080p and the other in YouTube-ready quality for uploading. Polaroid iD450. Its built-in Wi-Fi allows users to stream live video to the web via its onboard Ustream app, upload to YouTube, Facebook or other sharing sites, or view live video on iPad/iPod and Android devices, via the downloadable Apple and Android apps.
