Jackson, MI—The Photographic Research Organization (PRO) will hold four days of meetings for PRO members and affiliates during the 2013 PMA@CES event, which will take place January 8-11, 2013 at the LVH, formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton—just steps away from 2013 International CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

PRO activities will begin Wednesday, January 9, and run through Saturday, January 12, at Bally’s Las Vegas.

“We will be helping our members navigate the show floor and highlighting key vendors at both PMA@CES and the International CES,” said Mike Worswick, president of PRO. “We will also hold member meetings to summarize what we are seeing on the trade show floor, meet with vendors and share our thoughts and strategies coming out of the PMA@CES event.

“For PRO members, the advantage of attending PMA@CES is that it concentrates imaging-related vendors in one location on the massive CES floor. Being at PMA@CES allows our members to use their time more efficiently,” Worswick added. “We want to make sure our members take full advantage of all the imaging exhibits the PMA area.”

“PMA is pleased that PRO will be hosting its member and affiliate meetings during PMA@CES, and we welcome this large network of imaging buyers to the PMA@CES trade show floor,” said Jim Esp, PMA’s executive director. “Having PRO members at PMA allows these retailers to find the latest innovations to help their businesses succeed, and it gives PMA@CES exhibitors an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their newest products to a huge buying group of specialty retailers from across the United States, Canada and Australia.”

PRO members who would like to attend the 2013 DIMA Conference—which immediately precedes PMA@CES on January 6-7, 2013 and is also being held at Bally’s—can stay in one location and participate in all events. PRO is furnishing monorail passes to attending members and affiliates. PMA@CES is only two monorail stops from Bally’s.

“Our goal in holding this meeting during PMA@CES is to help our members get exposed to more products than they are currently offering,” Worswick said. PMA@CES and the International CES give our members a venue that is greater than what we can provide on our own. Along with the DIMA conference, PMA@CES will help our members expand the range of products they can sell, and discover new ideas to help them become more successful marketers. pmai.org and promaster.com
