Hampstead, MD—Phottix, an international company specializing in photography accessories, launched its BG-5DIII multifunction battery grip for Canon’s EOS 5D Mark III DSLR. The grip, distributed by OmegaBrandess, holds one or two LP-E6 or six AA batteries and features AF/on, FEL and AF points buttons, a vertical shutter button, a command dial and a power switch.
The BG-5DIII is designed to provide a comfortable vertical shooting position with an additional shutter release and scroll wheel for access to the camera’s function when shooting in the vertical orientation. The grip also has a tripod socket.
