Ramsey, NJ—Manfrotto Distribution and Manfrotto Bags have partnered with the charity Wounded Nature – Working Veterans for a special promotion in which Manfrotto will donate $5 to Wounded Nature for each Kata product purchased and registered at katahaveaheart.com.

“We are extremely honored to participate in this promotion with Wounded Nature, and hope to help as many of our veterans as possible find employment in this tough economy,” said Doug Feldner, Manfrotto category manager, Cases, Bags and Protective Solutions. “This partnership is ideal as not only will we be assisting our American heroes, but we will also be working toward persevering beaches and wildlife to ensure continued great experiences and photographs for generations to come.”

A nonprofit entity known for cleaning up rural beaches and estuaries on the East Coast, Wounded Nature (woundednature.org) employs wounded veterans and assists them in obtaining their first post-service civilian job. The goal for this project is to reach $20,000 in total donations by February 2012.

“This is a perfect fit for both of our companies,” said Rudy Socha, CEO of Wounded Nature. “Our work cleaning beaches and protecting wildlife will benefit wildlife photographers. The public relations work our veterans perform to educate the public about reducing litter everywhere will improve photo shots for all photographers.”
