North White Plains, NY—Kupo, one of Asia’s leading providers of professional grip equipment and lighting accessories for the still photo and video markets, announced a major expansion—88 additions—to its line of professional grip equipment is now available in the U.S. The products include light stands, grip equipment and accessories.

“Grip equipment plays such an important role throughout every aspect of still and video image creation and bringing the well-respected Kupo line of products to the U.S. allows us to supply the best image making accessories to filmmakers and photographers throughout the United States,” said Jan Lederman, president.

Among the Kupo products being featured are light stands, including the Junior roller stand, a lightweight alternative to a full-sized rollers for mobile lighting in the studio or location.

Also highlighted are Master C stand kits, including Master C stands, or Century stands, which are available as kits that bundle a C stand, 40-inch grip arm and 2-1/2-inch grip head to offer savings and convenience.

The Master C stand base is also offered. This exclusive Kupo Turtle base with patented spring-locking ring is available as an accessory so users can utilize their existing riser sections and gain the ease and speed that this base provides. “The Kupo Master C stand with Turtle base features a unique innovation in the world of C stands,” noted Lederman, “enabling photographers or filmmakers of any skill level to open and collapse the legs in under a second.”

Other newly introduced products include the Master C stand compact base, which is a compact version of the Master C stand base for use when there is limited floor space and a smaller footprint is necessary; and the Runway Base, a compact but strong wheeled base that allows its legs to be folded parallel to one another for storage and transportation. It features a junior 1-1/8-inch receiver to accept a C stand riser section and make the C stand mobile. kupogrip.com
