PMA Releases Preliminary DIMA 2012 Conference Schedule

Jackson, MI—PMA (Photo Marketing Association) released the preliminary program for the Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) conference, which will be held January 8-9, 2012, at Bally’s in Las Vegas, Nevada. A PMA member association, DIMA will hold their conference just prior to the PMA@CES event, which will be held January 10-13 at The Venetian in Las Vegas.

The DIMA 2012 program will be divided into four tracks, featuring these topics:

Retail Strategy Track. How to Host a Photo Safari; Online Opportunities for Independent Photo Retailers; Imaging Retail Store Start-Up: Creating a Brand; Reinventing the Brand of Successful Retail Imaging Stores; DIMA Marketing Ideas Exchange; and Economies of Small.

Social Media Track. Creating a Successful Social Media Campaign; E-mail as a Social Media Tool; and Social Media Boot Camp (full day).

Photo Publishing Track. Photo Books Soup to Nuts; Transforming Your Business with Photo Publishing; Photo Make Believe; and New Business Opportunities Reach beyond the Traditional Direct to Consumer Market.

Pro Imager Track. HDR Unveiled; Building Successful Photography Communities and Events on the Web; 10-Channel Workflow; and Creating Stunning Video with Your DSLR.

The DIMA conference programming complements the PMA@CES 2012 conference programming at The Venetian. More details on PMA@CES programming will be announced soon.

Early-bird registration is available to PMA members for $299. Companies must join PMA, or renew their PMA membership, by August 31 to be eligible for early bird member-only pricing.

After August 31, DIMA Annual Convention Registration will be $399 for PMA members ($599 nonmember), including choice of all DIMA educational sessions at Bally’s Las Vegas on Sunday and Monday, the DIMA Vendor Reception, the PMA Welcome Reception, the Keynote Luncheon and admission to the PMA conference sessions at The Venetian on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Registration also includes a 2012 International CES Exhibits Plus Pass, allowing access to PMA@CES, all exhibit areas and Tech Zones. pmai.org
