Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corporation will introduce the brand-new Fujifilm X-E2 interchangeable-lens camera and the premium XQ1 compact P&S camera as well as show its Mini 90 instant film camera and new Frontier-S DX100 photo printer at the PhotoPlus International Expo, October 24–26 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City (Booth 736).

“The PhotoPlus Expo is truly about photographers, the tools they use and helping them achieve exceptional image quality,” said Manny Almeida, senior vice president and general manager, Fujifilm North America Corporation, Imaging and Electronic Imaging. “And that is why we are excited to show our latest X-series and Instax cameras together with our Frontier-S DX100 professional photo printer. The company will also host a Facebook X Marks the Spot photo contest during the expo; show attendees will be able to enter for a chance to win a new Fujifilm X-M1 digital camera plus two Fujinon lenses. New Fujifilm X-Series Digital Cameras
Announced just one week ago, the new Fujifilm X-E2 will be available for visitors to experience as the latest addition to the company’s advanced X-series digital camera line. The X-E2 utilizes a 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor that controls moiré and false color generation. It also has an X mount for use with Fujinon XF lenses.

Fujifilm will also showcase the XQ1, a premium pocketsize camera with a bright Fujinon f/1.8, 4x zoom lens, a 12 megapixel 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor with phase detection and a second-gen EXR processor.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Instant Film Camera

Fujifilm will also have on display the new Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic instant film camera for attendees to try out. The camera combines a stylish, retro design with advanced photographic features and camera functions. Featuring a variety of new shooting modes, the Mini 90 now includes double exposure and macro modes.

Fujifilm Professional Printing Products

With a small footprint, the new Frontier-S DX100 will be shown for the first time at PhotoPlus Expo. The photo printer was developed with high print quality in mind, and it combines the benefits of a dye-sub printer size with the color reproduction and deep blacks of an inkjet printer. Geared for photo studios, event photographers, retailers and government agencies, it offers linear consumable pricing, variable print sizes and surface flexibility.

During the expo, professional photographer Jeff Gump will shoot sports-themed pictures of a model with booth visitors and print them on the Frontier-S DX100 to highlight its capabilities. fujifilmusa.com
