Eastman Kodak named Pradeep Jotwani to lead its consumer digital businesses and corporate marketing efforts, effective immediately. As president of Kodak’s Consumer Digital Imaging Group, Jotwani reports to Kodak president and chief operating officer Philip J. Faraci.

Jotwani, 56, was also appointed Kodak’s chief marketing officer, and in that capacity he reports to Antonio M. Perez, Kodak chairman and CEO. The company’s board of directors also elected him a senior vice president of the company.

“I am excited to play a part in the historic transformation of one of the world’s great companies,” Jotwani said. “I have worked in the industries in which Kodak participates for many years, and I have enormous respect for the company’s technology, products, people and brand. I look forward to leveraging those assets to help drive profitable growth.”

After serving for 25 years, Jotwani left Hewlett-Packard in 2007, as senior vice president, Supplies, Imaging and Printing Group. During his tenure, this business was the industry-leading supplier. Prior to that assignment, Jotwani was president of HP’s Consumer Business Organization, which he formed. This organization was HP’s first formal sales and marketing organization that focused specifically on the consumer market. In addition, Jotwani served as HP’s executive sponsor for Customer Relationship Management and founded hpshopping.com, the company’s e-commerce store.

As president of Kodak’s Consumer Digital Imaging Group, Jotwani is responsible for the company’s digital cameras, digital picture frames, pocket videocams, kiosks, imaging sensors, consumer inkjet printers and the Kodak Gallery, the company’s online photo service. As Kodak’s CMO, Jotwani oversees customer relationship management, brand management, business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing, communications and public affairs, online commerce, and the company’s website, kodak.com.
