Expanded finishing portfolio to offer turnkey large-format print and laminate solutions.

Melville, NY—Canon Solutions America (CSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon USA, partnered with the D&K Group, a global manufacturer of adhesive and coating technologies and print finishing equipment. With this collaboration, CSA’s large-format division expands its portfolio offerings to include turnkey solutions for printing and laminating applications.

Now, by combining D&K laminators and laminating films with an Océ ColorWave printer or Océ Arizona series printer, users can offer an expanded range of applications, such as flexible displays, floor graphics, wall graphics and countertop graphics. Additionally, the CSA Professional Services team can help customers implement an end-to-end solution with consulting, workflow analysis and implementation services.

As part of the collaboration, CSA is offering D&K wide-format laminators with 42-, 62- and 65-inch widths, across two model families: EXP42+ and EXP62+, designed for multipurpose laminating thermal, PSA and mounting; and EXP65+, for heavy duty and commercial lamination up to a 65-inch working width. It also provides films and adhesives designed specifically for these models.
