Lake Success, NY—Canon USA expanded its line of papers for the DreamLabo 5000 production inkjet printer, now offering single-sided metallic, double-sided glossy and single-sided luster papers. Users of the DreamLabo 5000 printer can produce albums, photo books, catalogs, calendars and greeting cards from a wider variety of papers.
With the addition of these three papers, there are now seven different papers available for the DreamLabo 5000. Details on the new papers, specially produced for photo laboratory customers, include: metallic (single-sided) for the pages of premium photo albums that brings out and enhances the colors of the prints; glossy (double-sided) that designed to provide a media to show off rich contrast and realistic colors in double-side photo book pages and calendar pages; and luster (single-sided), a photographic paper suited for professional photographic prints for photo album pages.
The Canon DreamLabo 5000, introduced in 2011, is engineered to offer the retail photo printing and high-end print-on-demand markets “optimal performance and productivity.
