2014 CES to Feature Ultra HD Display Technology Advancements

Arlington, VA—The next generation of televisions will take center stage at the 2014 International CES, January 7–10, 2014 in Las Vegas, where the latest advancements in Ultra High-Definition (Ultra HD) technology will be showcased via exhibits and conference programming.

Ultra HD delivers four times the resolution of today’s Full HD TVs, with more than eight million pixels of resolution. Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Sharp and Hisense are a few of the manufacturers who will be showcasing this technology. CEA will produce “Ultra HD Content: What Will We Watch in 2014 and Beyond?” on January 7, and “Seeing is Believing—3D, 4K and UHD” on January 9 will be produced by the International 3D and Advanced Imaging Society, an official CES conference partner.
