In its second year as part of the International CES, the PMA@CES TechZone—the venue for the most-concentrated exhibits of photo-imaging products and services—announced that nearly 20,000 registrants and counting for the big show in Las Vegas said they are attending the event to check out exhibitors in the digital imaging/photography space.

From capture to output, PMA@CES at the LVH (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton) was the place to be to learn about profitable products and services, reconnect with industry friends and establish new business connections.

“The excitement around images has never been greater, so it’s no surprise that nearly 20,000 people—and counting—are coming to Vegas to see digital imaging and photography exhibitors,” said Allen Showalter, PMA president. “We look forward to having these many thousands of imaging buyers on the 2013 PMA@CES trade show floor, where they will find the most innovative and profitable imaging services and accessories to grow their businesses.”

While the LVH was the focus of the digital imaging/photography exhibits, just a few convenient steps away at the Las Vegas Convention Center, many of the major players in the category also had booths.

In addition to exhibits, PMA@CES offered two conference tracks covering retail strategy for the photo industry and trends and technology, where attendees got a clear picture of opportunities in photo and the future direction of digital imaging. The educational sessions at the PMA@CES conference were the perfect complement to the PMA@CES exhibits at the LVH.

The 2013 International CES as a whole featured a record amount of exhibit space, with the show floor totaling more than 1.87 million net square feet and 3,000 exhibitors spanning the largest show floor in the event’s 45-year history. cesweb.org
